Crossfires of Maryland Charity Car Show

That is really all that needs to be on there. people want the date and name of show to say they have been there. Also the picture will be the focal point for our show. so the picture from the flyer, name and date is all we need. anything else and it looks cluttered. This is our dash plaque, so no need to list the location or charity.

I would used "1st Annual Car Show" because it's the first and more collectible. We also need to make sure our first/initial logo is on the dash plaque. I have multiple prototype jpegs James. I'll send you a few within the hour.

FYI.......from Adam B. at driveSRT.com

Hi Chas,

As you know, it’s been the pleasure of driveSRT.com to build and maintain a relationship with the Crossfire owner community. As SRT grows into its own as an independent brand, we’re excited for the buildup to the launch of the next-generation SRT Viper. We recognize you as a leading voice within the worldwide owner community, and as such, we’d like to invite you to witness the launch of the Viper firsthand in New York City on April 4.

Join us for the vehicle’s formal press reveal at the New York International Auto Show, followed by exclusive round-table Q&A sessions with Viper engineering and design staff. Throughout the event, we’ll provide WiFi access, charging stations and photo opportunities so you can keep your owner community informed. In the evening, you’ll be invited to attend a private Viper owner gala, where 1000 Viper owners will celebrate the rebirth of this Detroit-built icon.

driveSRT.com will be happy to provide travel and lodging accommodations. If you’re up to the task of being your community’s “citizen reporter”, please RSVP with your mobile phone number by Thursday, March 22 to abarrera@jrthompson.com.

In addition, we're hoping to work with CICCI to carry some news about the Viper reveal on the front page.

SRT is moving fast toward an exciting future, thanks to the timeless enthusiasm of our passionate owner base. Thanks for all you do to keep SRT’s history alive.

My kindest,
//Adam

Hey Marketing department, I got an email about the flyer, can you guys and gal please look into it?

"I downloaded a flier for the August show and it seems due to the white ink you’re using, the class column does not come out complete and the info on the goody bags etc. is very hard to see. It makes two columns right down the middle, a white one and a black one. It looks fine on the website prior to downloading. Just thought you might want to know and adjust if you can. Thanks."

Not sure what site he pulled the flyer from. he said he got a link from a friend and when he opened the site and downloaded it he had issues. Ive downloaded the flyers and sent both copies to people and have not heard of an issue. I sent the flyer directly to the person so at least he has a copy.

Also if anyone is sending our flyers out to websites for postings, please post the sites on here. We need to get as many of them out as possible, and not double submit.

I haven't sent to any website managers yet other than to the folks at Linganore. I did sent it to one of my local cruise in contacts whom has quite and extensive list of enthusiats. He sent the info and link out to his full distribution list............. and I'm not going to worry about double coverage when it comes to distribution lists.

When I get a chance I'm going to send it to a bunch of other web sites that post cruise-ins, car shows, swap meets etc. Once I do that I'll send you a list of who I've covered.

My buddy is going to register. He has a vette. BTW, he wants to join our club. Even though he has a vette, he'd be a really good addition. Not sure how you all want to handle non-Crossfire owners, but it wouldn't be such a bad thing to have people who are enthusiats that just want to get involved. Thoughts?

I agree Paul. I make a motion to amend the By-Laws to add category that addresses "Associate Membership" within Crossfires of Maryland for all makes, models and owners dedicated to supporting the ideals of the club.

Second?

The flyer is getting out in the car world, so that is good.

As far as members who dont have a crossfire.........The by-laws state that all members must own a crossfire, but im not a fan of keeping people out of the club that really want to join. We can change the by laws to board members must own a crossfire, but all members must join CICCI. The goal of the club is to promote the crossfire no matter what. and if a vette guy wants to join up, and tell everyone how awesome a crossfire is, so be it.

Hey Paul, here is a jpeg of my two fliers. Jason will have to get you one of his if that is the one you are using.

I also had issues printing Jasons flier from that autophotography web link he provided...I could not get a whole clean copy to come out so not sure if it is a setting at my end or on the site.

Are we all at liberty to send the fliers to dealers and car shops, or wherever?

Sounds great. We can propose some appropriate language, vote on it and if it passes, go from there. He has backed out of the DC area vette club because he's less than enamored with it -- they don't really do any thing of value.
