I can add whatever the answers are to morrow and send you my copy as PDF ....however I think Jason (xfire) and his lady were trying to spruce up the resolution on some of the graphics...haven't heard how they are coming for a couple days now...but they will need to know these answers as well.

If you want, I can go ahead and send my copy out tomorrow and get everyone's approval - then jason can do the behind the scenes stuff later - you will still be able to print good enough quality sheets to use for now for sure
Anything coming into the club can be made payable to "Crossfires of Maryland" or "COM".

I ran the draft flyer through our friends at the winery. Just one edit. Please
link the words "wine" and "Cellars" to be one word. It should ready: Linganore Winecellars/Berrywine Plantations, Inc.

Thanks.

car show flier-4.pdf

Here is what I have.

This should contain to all requests and needs I have seen so far. However Jason wants to offer up two options when he gets the other version ready and let everyone choose which copy they prefer...which is cool...I'll check with him to see where he stands right now.

With the late model / historic. What would someone do if they had a older American car without historic plates?

Well here's our version of the flyer. We'll leave it up to the other members to decide which one we should start handing out. I know David and I/my lady put in quite the effort to get the flyer(s) looking the way they are.

Looks great too. Let's pick one and go forward.

Not a big deal but likely an easy fix. In this sentence we should also correct the spellling for Linganore Winecellars. Just put the two word together.
"Your $15 Registration includes a complimentary wine tasting courtesy of Linganore Wine Cellars with other proceeds going to the North Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue."

Let's conclude decision by today and then we can initiate our outreach. Great job people and thanks for all the work!

Wow they both look great, I printed both in Color and Black & White, and since I have to choose I think Jason's print better in both formats. Jason the only thing I would change if possible is shading on check box area, when you print in color, the top of area is lost can't see "import" line, and hard to read Historic line.

We need our name/logo out there too!!!!

The flyers look awesome. Jason, pick one and let's roll.

If that happens we will make a judgement call. if say a 1980 Corvette with regular tags is there and they want to be historic then i see no reason why they shouldn't. If they have a 1992 Firebird, then they are in Late Model. If they pick a class and are close enough to it then we will let them into the class they pick. We will run into things like this since this is our first show. We will be able to work things like this our better next year with more knowledge, and hopefully a bigger budget.

wow, i really like both flyers, I know a president has to make tough decisions, but i think we should use both. we have four months before the show, so for April and May use one flyer and then June and July switch to the other one. this should keep our show fresh in people's minds.

LOL - sounds like a good idea and now someone asked me to jack up a previous version...so I made the change to the wine cellar script that was pointed out (in the second location) and enlarged the COM logo that was reguested and I am putting both of these up for you to look at - this may just get too confusing!

I am sure Jason will make the same edits on his version as soon as he can get to it.
Pick what you like...we'll make sure it happens.

Already sending them to some distribution lists. Also, I'm sending a final version to the Winery so they can post it as well.

Dave, keep us posted on how registration is going from time to time. Hopefully in the next month or so we'll have registrations rolling in.

Hey Jason, I downloaded your flyer, and its prints just fine, but the file is almost 23MB. any way to easily compress that without changing the format? If not dont worry about it, since it prints without any problems.

Very nice Jason. Thanks, I printed off copies and will start disseminating them. The ballots have also been prepared. LMK when you want to meet up to stuff them in the goodie bags.

nice job everyone. looks like it is all starting to come together nicely.

I got an email from summit, they will be sending out a shipment of swag soon. If you know of any local companies that would be interested in providing items for goodie bags or raffle prizes, let's get in touch with them soon please.

I would like the picture used on the flyer to be the background for our dash plaques. If this is agreeable; then I need osmeone to send it to me so that we can get to work onmy end. the plaque will have:

Crossfires of MAryland
C.O.M
Date
Do we want to say "First Car Show" (I wouldn't) or just Car show. Please weigh in with your thoughts! Thanks!

James
