Is the cruise still on? I see we're supposed to get a little precipitation this weekend in the form of rain and thunderstorms. Not exactly convertible cruising weather....

You know I was thinking the same thing!!
It's seems like the OC Cross-Up does not want to happen.........................
First time we got snow.........and then we decided to wait for warmer weather.........and we waited and now that it's warmer it seems rain is 99% in the forecast....................
Lets see who is in and we will go from there.

I gotta say, my wife and I are REALLY looking forward to this, but we're not looking forward to it if we're going to get saturated all weekend. I was also hoping to be able to see all the shiny XF's in the bright sunlight! Not to mention an opportunity to be cruising topless... . I could be persuaded either way, but if i had to make a choice, I think I'd be leaning toward picking another weekend.

Tomorrow night: Showers early becoming less numerous late. Low 51F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Saturday: Windy with thunderstorms in the area. Highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 50s.

Sunday: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the upper 40s.

If they rethrow the darts, it can change to SUNNY!!!!!!!!!!

I am going, rain, shine, snow. I don't give a sh-t. It has been since October of last year and I want to run!!!!!!!!! I will be a Bob Evans Sat. morning at 0800, will leave at 0900. I have never been to OC, and I want to see it before the crowds.

I am going to drive down on Friday and stay near the Bob Evans. See you at 8 a.m. Can't see putting this off again. We won't melt.

 

Well, I will need to work on Saturday, so I won't be able to tag along.

I live only a few miles from Bowie, so I may stop by at 8 am as you assemble and take a few pix.

Having helped organize and attended every Cross-Up before this one, how can I say no?

We've Cross-up'd in the rain before (Shenandoah, and Ron went topless ) and it was still a good time, so come on folks don't worry 'bout the weather.

8 am means I gotta leave the house by, what, 6 am? Ouch, that's gonna hurt. But I'll see ya then.

P.S. I bought 2 FRS's so I'll be bringin' em.
