JD I just was told by the person that was making the banner for me he can't do it. I went to a place that makes them and they wanted over $300.00 for it. So no Crossfire International banner. Sorry.

Alan.

Forget that... $300.00 is too much.
We will go with what we have.
Thanks anyway.

When will everybody be getting in on Friday? I might spend the morning cleaning the car up before I leave to get there. Any thoughts?

Traffic gets crazy, get there as early as you can...There is plenty of stuff to do there you won't be bored, in fact 3 days is not enough time to see everything. This is a BIG show.

I hope to get there early Friday afternoon, go by the fairgrounds and pick up my credentials, and then go back and check into the hotel. Hopefully after that I can find a place to clean up the car after the drive from Florida. If not, we may have to hide her behind the others!!!

Thumbs up Re: Chrysler Nationals

If you’re planning to attend and you're interested in getting an early start and avoiding traffic in Carlisle, here is the plan.
For those Southern Marylanders that desire to leave Saturday morning (the 8th), I will be at the North Side of the Parking Lot at the Hollywood Fire House (on 235) at 0415 for departure at 0430.
From there we will go up 235/5 through Waldorf to the Beltway, around the Eastern side to I-270 to Urbana.
There we will be joining the VIPER mini-convoy meeting just south of Frederick, MD. We'll meet at the Park-n-Ride at the Urbana-Buckeystown exit off I-270 (exit 26). The Park-n-Ride is straight ahead at the end of the exit ramp off I-270 North. We should meet there between 6:10-6:30 am, with a 6:35 am departure. It's a 95 minute drive from there no matter which route we take (route will be I-270 to I-70 to Hagerstown and I-81 to Carlisle). We should arrive at the Carlisle Fairgrounds around 8:10 am. We will use a route around Carlisle which will allow us to avoid downtown and miss sitting in any traffic. (Although there's not much traffic at 8:00 am!)
REMEMBER to bring your FRS Radio and tune to Channel 10/Code 10 (Official VIPER/Crossfire Channel) so that we can communicate during the Convoy.
IT'S THIS COMING WEEKEND!!!

We will try to meet you at the Greencastle exit of I-81 about 7 am, (depending on how fast you are traveling!). Was someone staying in Chambersburg? We could maybe meet up with them too!
Really looking forward to seeing everyone!
