WA/OR NWCC Coastal drive October 2013
HI EVERYONE!!!
Just want to give you all a heads up...especially those of you that aren't on Facebook...Phill Mitchell is currently planning a drive for our NWCC group in October 2013. It is still in the planning stages...but at this point this is what he is thinking....
Meeting in Long Beach, WA on Friday night October 11th. Trying to get the group to all stay at the same motel to simplify...he has to make calls on that still and will let us know...Saturday, October 12th drive down highway 101 to Newport, OR. Stay the night in Newport Saturday night and Sunday drive home. Is that accurate information Phill?
Think about it! We would love to have a good turn out! Will probably be the last organized drive until Spring...

SUPER 8 MOTEL CHECKIN: 4:00PM
500 OCEAN BEACH BLVD CHECKOUT: 11:00AM
(PACIFIC AVE AT 5THSTREET SOUTH) 360-642-8988
LONG BEACH WA 98631-0220 http://www.longbeachsuper8.com/
I have a block of 10 rooms set aside for our group at Super8. The rooms reserved are with 2 queen beds for $92.65. If you prefer a singlequeen for $84.15 you can request it when you call and make the reservation, ifone is available you should be able to get it. But the ones on hold aredoubles. I also never inquired about ocean view or not, I just blocked therooms. You will have to ask when you make the call to book your room. I’ve put the website link above for you. Theyhave a continental breakfast included...etc…check it out. The rates they haveus at don’t seem to be any special “group” rate like the motel on Saturdaynight gave us. But I liked the central downtown location, close to the beachand boardwalk, large vehicle parking they offer hoping we can park there, andthey are next door to a free museum that has “Jake the alligator man”!!
Call 1-877-361-2508 (this is abooking number, not the direct motel) tell them your group is NWCC and confirmation# 98317880 and give them your credit cardnumber to guarantee the room. My understanding is it won’t be charged until youstay there. It’s important you do this before September 27th,after that they will release any rooms not guaranteed and you are on your own.

I also have 10 rooms blocked at this motel for Saturdaynight. I have 8 rooms with 2 beds for $65.00 and 2 rooms with one bed for$55.00. They at least gave us a group rate which is nice. It looks like it iseasy on and off the highway, close to the ocean, has the continental breakfast, and the large vehicle parking.

I hope you do too! What are you looking for? Are you looking for an SRT or N/A? Do you do Chrysler Crossfire Owners on Facebook? Everyone is REALLY helpful finding you what you are looking for. There is an Oyster Gold 2008 Ltd. Coupe in Florida I REALLY REALLY want...$14,000? $16,000? 6 speed 35,000 miles...it's so pretty.. but I can't afford it right now...Rare color...but just so you know...if you DON"T get your xfire before the drive, you are still welcome to join us! You can hitch a ride with those that are ridin solo...we can pass you around! haha! lol! If you are interested in giving me some information, I can add you to our NWCC (Northwest Crossfire Club) database. That way you will get all our email correspondence. PM me if you are ok with it. Or email me xfireobsessed@hotmail.com

Hey Blooize, im lookin for a 2004 or 2005 N/A either Black with red int. or possibly sapphire...Auto trans. under the 100k mark and around 10k. cash to spend....
[QUOTE=Maelstrom;758611]I'm in! See you guys that Friday. Are there any planned stops along the way?[/QUOTF
Friday I'm assuming several of us will meet along the way down and travel together...you are welcome to tag along...we haven't worked all that out yet. On Saturday heading down 101...I'm sure Phill who is planning the drive has some stops planned...but I'm not certain what and where...there was talk about Tillamook Cheese Factory...mostly the stops seemed to center around food lol! If there is somewhere you have in mind let me know and I can tell Phill.

Stops centered around food is a good plan. LOL
The Tillamook Cheese Factory was one place or the Tillamook Air Museum would be another idea. I would probably end up staying too long in the Air Museum though.
