Chrysler Sebring
Though not a sports car, have you checked out the new Sebring? It lost some of the Crossfire bits, like the windshield surround. But, it seemed to pick up the grill.
Where did you see the new Sebring? My wife has a 1997 Convertible that I got her 6 years ago...so it is time for a change. She won't consider anything else. However, I don't buy new, so am wondering if I should buy 2005 or wait till 2008 to buy the new model 2 years old.
Sadly, she loves green cars, but there is no green Sebring in the lineup. Now if they offered the Crossfire Yellow I think she'd press for a new car now.

I just did an online search for 2007 Chrysler Sebring. It got my attention due to a story in our St. Louis newspaper that featured a picture of the show car version, not the new production car. It was the show car that had strong Crossfire elements to it, like the windshield surround. It's the production one that gets a look a like grill and hood grooves, too.
Looks like the updated Pacifica gets a new hood with the strakes as well. At least a (slightly) larger motor goes under it! Must all be part of the new Chrysler signature look.
Where did you hear anything re. the new Pacifica? Hadn't seen any pic's at all (not another Chrysler with hood strakes)! Nor did I hear anything about updated power. Point me to your info. Thanks.
I saw a new Sebring with manufacturer plates on I696 in suburban Detroit yesterday. The car was all black, with half the panels in a matte finish. The idiot was doing 90 in heavy traffic on a road marked 65, weaving in and out of traffic, passing in the right lane, without signaling, all while talking on his cellphone.
There was a loose plastic piece below the bottom of the rear bumper, flapping furiously in the wind. The basic proportions of the car looked good, for an Accord-sized sedan, but the detailing around the C-pillar looked fussy and not well-resolved (rather Saturn-like).

I think it was mentioned in the new Road & Track. I'm sure an internet search will show you something. The new Chrysler Aspen suv has the straked hood too.
