Can you say "300 Rip-off??"

I knew you could!

They have to do something, their 500 sedan went over like a turd in the punchbowl. Now if GM would make a sedan that looked cool.

It's about time. I've always been a Ford guy for my entire life, and the niche markets using Ford products (Saleen, Roush, Shelby) are thriving. But Ford as a whole has really gone downhill IMO, with the lack of imaginative engineers and a TERRIBLE advertising campaign. Kermit the frog at last year's superbowl? GET REAL. Nissan shows their cars doing brakestands, sliding, and hauling @ss in general. Dodge has the humor aspect. Toyota's commercials (Tacoma), while being blatantly BS, are entertaining nonetheless and makes buyers interested.

I hope the interior fit and finish of this car will be better than that of the Mustang, though.

C'mon,

Twenty-two inch wheels- not going to happen. Four point seat belts- not going to happen. Ford Racing 400-horsepower V-8- not likely. Plus, it is a bit of a 300 rip-off.

I also thought of the Ford as a 300 copy, then realized that the 300 looks a lot like an early 60's Lincoln...oh well.

"There aren't a lot of layers between the driver and the road."

After reading this I fully realize I like those little layers of technology between the driver and the road. lol.

I'm always discovering new little features with the Xfire that I had not noticed before.

The problem with Ford right now is they have no original designs to their cars...they are all clones of some other manufacturers vehicles. Except for the Mustang I don't think Ford offers anything worthwhile buying.
