Talking I got my MCS last week!

Well my car came in last week, a week early I might add and I was VERY happy to say the least. Speaking of happy, this car is unbelievable! I have to let you guys know this right now though, my photo account, clubphoto, is down right now so I can't put up any pics right now but the car is "right", here's what I've done so far:

- Helix "stubby" antenna

- Nokya yellow fog bulbs

- 194 NA parking light bulbs (stock ones are white, hmm, sounds familiar)

- 35% metallic window tint

Hopefully this Friday I'll be getting a custom made exhaust for it that consists of:

- 2.5" T304 SS piping
- new flex pipe
- polished ss Magnflow
- polished ss Pipes exhaust tip (single tip, not dual), think squared off round style

I've also got a set of 17" PIAA Sport Mesh rims on order, but right now they're backordered. The finish is black diamond and they look AWESOME and will be the finishing piece to my MCS for this year. Next year the car is getting lowered with H&R's, giving it the "right" look. Once again I'm sorry about not being able to post pics and if anyone has a suggestion for an easy to use place to start storing my pics, please let me know, thanks.

BTW, I couldn't be any happier right now!!!

Sounds great Aero, I hope we will all get a chance to see it at Woodward in August.

Glad to hear that you like it. BTW, the Mini convertibles are really growing on me lately.

Funny thing about the convertible Mini's for 2007, they are NOT the new body style, strange but true.

As far as Woodward goes, I'll be there many weekends leading up to the 3rd Saturday in August and the actual day I'll be at the bank just south of the M-B dealership with my buddy from Chicago in his 300+ hp 03' EVO.

The other car forum I've been apart of for the past 7 years had a meet last weekend and this was the only pic worth a damn that came out. My clubphoto is currently under construction right now so its only a matter of time till I can take and post my own pics, enjoy! BTW this pic does show the custom exhaust tip and trust me, there's a custom exhaust in front of it too.

Also, the 1st generation engine, "S" still means supercharged on the 2007 Convertible.

Aero Blue... Funny you should mention a MCS, I just picked up mine last week. Astro Black S with Chrome line outside and Black interior. It's a blast to drive.

Good Luck with yours.

Talking Re: I got my MCS last week!

I have a 2002 Mini cooper S electric blue, White top/mirror option. 6 speed. Loaded. Excellent condition. Have borla sport exhaust and an ALTA intake version 2.0. Fast and FUN!!! Thinking about selling it. Make an offer. Let me know if you know anyone that wants it. Only Has 40,000 Miles. That's not bad for a 2002... These things also hold their value extremely well.

Thanks,
Justin

I used to work at a BMW dealership and we also sold MC. I have to say alot of people hate the car, but one thing is for sure...they are fun as hell to drive. Pretty much like a go cart that you can just toss into any corner and power out of it (with the S) and even kick the rear end out if you are lucky. With a fwd car I have to admit it brings a smile to my face!

One thing I found really interesting is the broad customer base Mini has. I would see anyone (from a 16 year old to a 70 year old) come in and purchase one. The best part was watching to see how they customized it to their liking.

Hope you enjoy your MCS!!!
And give that turbo lots of spooling time!!
