Thumbs up Fast Minis

Check this out: A shop that upgrades classic minis with modern brakes, suspension, and a Honda B16 or K20 motor. Check out the Gallery link. They look very well put together!

I've got an original mini GT (1275 cc) from 1978. It actually still goes very well and is surprisingly quick off the line. It's a great car but even with a stock standard motor and wide tyres it can struggle to apply what limited horsepower it has to the ground.

Even with upgraded brakes & suspension, the thought of 220 hp in this car is frightening. 12 inch wheels, no air bags, no crumple zones...

It would be a death trap.

So cool as long as nothing ever happens...
