Here's a little something to wet your tastebuds.
Chrysler just annouced a new line of electric vehicles they have been 'secretly' working on for some time now. They have promised to put one of the three vehicles on the market in the next few years. Here are you choices:

Chrysler EV:

Jeep EV:

I'm personally intrigued...especially by the Lotus/Tesla inspired Dodge EV...who knows what will happen next.

1 - your R&D costs are recouped more quickly
2 - people see that electric cars aren’t invalid carriages
Then build the more mundane cars.

2. Based on the sales of the Prius, I think people have accepted electric cars. Question is, will they accept an electric sports car?

Jus raggin' you guys a bit
Minivan for the soccer mom would sell if the price is right. I'm afraid a $40,000 mini van will be out of the price range of most moms. They will probably only put them in Calif. so the movie stars can continue to claim their green stance. It is an interesting time in the world right now, maybe they will come up with some inventive financing like a car A.R.M. so everyone can afford them. lol

I don't think it's half bad.. I'd consider the Jeep if it's off road capabilities are on par with a regular gas one.

Chrysler is now officially in the game. I'd buy a jeep if would get 8o miles on a charge and have 4 wheel drive capability. I've heard the batteries loose about 15% of their storage after 90,000 miles. I'm in if they don't cost $80,000. They need to be affordable to the middle class guy or gal. Looks like at least 10 years away for mass production.

LMFAO!!!!
If that scares you then you really don't want to see the transformers or inverters that resistance weld the cars you drive!
Those wires might as well be speaker wire!
Come over to Detroit and I'll introduce you to a 280kA transformer stack that'll melt well over 23 inches of 220ksi martensitic AHSS.
