What do you think of this shifter setup???

It's from a 2004 Honda Civic SI.

Reminds me of an old Renault. A friend of mine had one when I was stationed in Germany. It was a real piece of crap to try to shift.

I had this car and it was a great shifter! Designed for Ralley racing.I really like how easy it was to drive !!Much better than my350z 6sp.Nothing in your elbows way!!I would buy another one.

stupid hondas....

I can see where it may help for a rally where you want to put your hand back on the wheel fast but who needs it for everday. I bet we move to f1 paddle shifters for everthing in the future. Maybe one day a double wet peddle setup will be cost effective for everyday use.

Just had a really close look at the Boxster S Tiptronic System (on a Boxster which is stuck in neutral). This is the way forward....when it works. All the benefits of an automatic, with the control of a manual. You don't even need to take your hands off the wheel.

I want a paddle system on the next XF.
