No AMG badges for Aston Martin

AAAWWWGH!
So, naturally an Aston Martin wouldn't be worthy of such an epic badge.

Personally I think it's a step backwards. An Aston isn't an Aston without that throaty growl of the V12...
Agree........
The MB community is possibly the most "dog eat dog" group of folks I've seen... they eat their own on a daily basis over there. There are some exceptions, as some of my best friends are part of that community. But as a whole...

I'm not too snobby to turn one down. LOL
I've always admired Astons because they place a priority on style and refinement, rather than absolute speed. AMG has always had faster vehicles, but nothing drops jaws like seeing a Vanquish in the flesh. The newest one is simply ASTOUNDING.
I'm quickly losing my love affair with the "speed" side of things, and gaining an appreciation for the other intangibles a car has to offer. I'd willingly sacrifice a tenth here, and a second there, if the overall driving experience is more involved and pleasurable.

No need for a cigar, in an Aston Martin you are a somebody. LOL
Worth noting, I don't smoke cigars to impress onlookers -- I smoke them to thin the crowd of bystanders
As far as a good smoke goes you probably would have done as well sucking on an exhaust pipe. Naturally the cigar stunt has been butted out these days.

As someone who is looking for his next car Aston may be on the list. Not a V12, but a decent sounding V8. Or maybe I'll join back with Mercedes and get a C63. I have no idea at the moment and choosing feels like i'm having to compromise.
C63 owners are the chihuahuas of the MB crowd, IMO... they bought the ballsiest version of the (at the time) entry model. Yet, they act as if their feces are as scent-free as the SLS owners. Because "same motor"

Besides, the M156 motor has had its share of issues... oil, head studs, list goes on...
An older Aston V8 suits you better IMO... You enjoy style and sound more than brute force. The Aston has the first two in spades... Lord knows you don't need more speed
Not true. Pagani has AMG proudly displayed on the engines (and a builder's plaque)... the link was specifically referring to the powerplants, not fenders.
Don't get a C63.
