WTB Cadillac ETC 2001 or 2001
My father-in - law is a caddy guy. Six years ago, he went out to trade his 90 ElDoraddo Coupe fora newer ETC NorthStar and some fast talker convinced him to trade it for an off rental fleet POS. A Chevy 2005 Monte Carlo SS v/6 vanilla off lease car.
Now, at 90 years old, his children want him to stop driving. I alone say, " NO, he drives better than any of his kids and needs his independence."
"But he could have a stroke driving?"
To which I respond, "then he should die in the Cadillac he wanted."
So I'm looking for an ETC Eldorado; Northstar engine with a sunroof.
Less than 100K on the clock, preferably white or pearl white.
I'll drive just about anywheres for the right car.
Looking to spend about $ 4K to $5K; Cash in hand.
E-Bay and Craigslist has been disappointing so far.
This man is a WWII vet and my best friend.
Thanks for any help here.

Hard to find any decent models under 100,000 for less than $7000. But here's one.
2001 Cadillac Eldorado ETC, $4,599 - Cars.com
and another down in North Palm Beach... from the free Carfax this one may have had a Trunk Monkey installed (Suburban Chevrolet - LOL)!
2001 Cadillac Eldorado ETC, $5,500 - Cars.com

Cadillac ETC (Eldorado Touring Coupe) and ESC (Eldorado Sport Coupe).
Differences were mainly for the trim and performance packages.
Used 2002 Cadillac Eldorado review, specs, buying guide, price quote, info
Seeing how they started out @ over 42K in 2002, they are doing about the same as our Crossies as far as resale value goes!

Wouldn't you know it????
The old fart drpped by for lunch and saw a red ETC on my screen.
"WOW, I like that!"
"I thought you didn't want a red one?" I retorted.
"Well, All my friends told me red ones get you into trouble."
"Dad, two things,
One; most of your friends are dead.
And two; Seems to me,at your age, trouble is what you should be getting into.'
So red is fine,, white is OK, but not black

If it was for me....the red one. Although I really have no fondness for a Cadilllac.
As for a girl friend. Rudy likes them young. His Hot tub is amazingly well decorated in good weather.
A few summers ago, I'm working on my yard with a friend. Luscious babe mid 30's, pulls into his driveway in a Mustang Convertible. All I saw was a Black string bikini slightly hiding her soft mounds over a jewel embeded belly button.
"Where's Rudy?" she asked.
My tongue was in the way, but, in response, I mumble something unintelligible....
"That's OKAY, " said she., "He promised we could go Hot Tubbing.
Ten minutes later Rudy pulls in, and the next thing I see thru the open garage doors is the two of them in the tub, the string bikini hangin' over the side. I grabbed my garage door opener and brought it down before his daughter, Crumpy, could see it.
As the door closes...... my buddy shouts, "way to go Rudy!"
When he goes it will be in the Hot Tub I installed or the caddy I bought him. Thereby making it my fault.
But the smile on his face.....that'll be his fault.

He is an inspiring man.
Where is Grove OK?
By the Indian lakes, before you get to Vanita.
Easy shot.
Hmmm. Wish he had more pictures.
After some careful espionage, we have learned that metallic red, Maroon, would be preferred. Sorta opens the field a bit.
And the search goes on.....
