Yesterday was a good day indeed, purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee with every option and the HEMI 5.7. God its the best thing ever, is seriously kicks as* for a truck. DVD, NAV, Uconnect and everything else...rarely is a fantastic vehicle. With the EPP i managed to get it down from 43,300 to 35K...unreal...now the wife wants to know why we have three cars and no kids...hmmm.

 

...gotta love that 5.7L. I have driven a Magnum with that engine in it, and it really can get out of its own way. Too bad, then, that the Hemi cannot be paired with a manual in any of the vehicles it is offered in. I personally feel that a manual in a Magnum or Charger would move it from my "it's nice" list to my "I must have it" list. A manual in one of these big, American cars would be irresistible - part Nascar, part vintage muscle car, and totally fun.

ram hemi trucks come with an auto, at least this years, maybe older models did. the srt-10 comes with a manual though...

 

SRT-10 is not a HEMI. It uses the Viper 8.3L V10, which far more powerful than a HEMI, lacks that sweet American muscle car burble.

 

The Ram 2500 Hemi is available with a manual, I don't think the 1500 has the option though.
