Beauty Pageant Winners
Everybody has at least one. That one car that stands out in your mind above all the rest. It may not be the fastest, or the most expensive, the most desirable, or even your personal favorite. It's simply the car that (in your opinion) is the MOST BEAUTIFUL.
Since the Crossfire Forum is made up of such a diverse group of individuals, with ages spanning over 50 years. I thought it would be especially interesting to see what cars would be mentioned, seeing how we all have one thing in common, our admiration for the XF of course.
If you can't choose just one, then narrow it down to your Top 3, but put them in order, with your favorite listed 1st.
Pick any type of car you want, Production car, Race car, or Show car, what ever. But if your choice is some what obscure, try to post a photo so everybody will know what your talking about.
If you want to say why you feel the way you do about your choices, that would be great too.

OK...I'll go first. I actually have a tie for 1st. place. For me, it's a toss up between a 1961 Jaguar XKE coupe, and a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. Next, any Sting Ray coupe between 1963 thru 1967. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a "sexy bod".
It's kind of funny when you think about it. I developed the fascination for those 3 cars between the ages of 10 & 12, and here I am almost 55 and they're still the most beautiful cars to me.

1937 Bugatti Atlanta coupe. Enough room for you, your mistress and enough luggage for a weekend in Monaco yet fast enough to lose your wife's lawyers.
Note the central fin and the blending of the rear fenders into the rear body line-styling that is reproduced in our Crossfires.

The 1966 Corvette fast back is definitely one, I learned to drive a stick in one when I was 16.
The XKE Jag fastback, 1962? The one with the redline tires. My uncle had the convertible version in white with a red leather interior.
Lastly just about anything that Chip Foose builds, the guy's a genius.
That's about the only ones that standout except my current vehicle.

Well, it's sort of hard for me to make choices, but since I was very very young, the 1953 (I think that's the year) Corvette comes to mind. I loved the "wire" covering over the headlights.
The newest Chrysler 300 is another one, but it depends on color (believe it or not). I think choosing a color is definitely a woman's point of view ;-)
Bugatti is another one.
But, I tend to go for the older cars. I loved the muscle cars of the 70's and the old sport cars from the 60's. I LOVED the bug-eyed Sprite.
These cars, I guess, are not what most people would call "beautiful or pageant winners", but they appeal greatly to me.

Just the thought of a bug-eyed Sprite and I can feel the pain. One of my fraternity brothers had one and manage to throw out a thrust bearing in his transmission. Being a cheap group of engineering students, we couldn't afford to rent a cherry picker or A-frame. Instead, we decided that with 6 of us lifting on three ropes under the engine and transmission, we could just pick it up out of the car.
As we started the lift, we realized that the engine was not balanced left to right. I started to roll in the rope sling. The other two lifters on my side let go, unfortunately, I had a loop of rope around my hand and couldn't. The engine rolled over my hand and my typing has been miserable ever since.

GT40 what? Pagani ZONDA who?
officially i can not stray from my crossfire but if i were to flirt, here is an anti-ZONDA. A clip 8 minutes + of enjoyable test ride of a new swedish supercar... very interesting at the 3 min mark and very interesting from 4 min 30 sec mark... check out at the end what the roof can do... simple but raw power... good vid
sick sick sick... 650 bhp 245 mph-ish.
