I've sold my third and last Crossfire - I will remain here to offer what tech help I can and to keep in touch with 16 years of friends. Why did I sell? Back issues mostly, of course, but also, I live in the city now and there are no roads worthy of this car within even 50 miles of home. Also, I will be retiring to Michigan in a few years (that's where my kids are), I had a Jeep when I was up there years ago, when I was young, and liked it - so I"ve gone back to it, kinda like how I was away from Motorcycles for a long time and have gone back to a bike in the last four years.
I did not want today's overly complex electronics, and I don't like a lot of things about the "Fiat" version of the Jeep (2013 on).
SO: I found what really fits, a low miles 2009 Wrangler with the 3.8L 202HP V6 and manual six speed transmission, this one has 66,000 miles. In my time with the Crossfire, I bought two airplane tickets to get the RIGHT car, then two days ago, I flew to buy this Jeep, and drove home 270 miles. (I keep saying, you can't always buy local, not when you KNOW what you want.)
The car was "Loralie" after the 'mom' on "The Gilmore Girls" from years ago. I never saw the show but thought Lauren was beautiful. So, this Jeep is "Loralee".
It has had a resonator delete and the wheels and tires are after-market, as well as the cheap, crappy Amazon sound system. I don't like the drone of the exhaust, it will get a pipe with resonator soon, as well as a FACTORY (used) AM/FM/CD head. Other than that, I like it just as it is.
Like the SE Roadster, it deserves two parking spaces at work! Not a part of the lot that is used very often, it's a walk but the walk does me good. I have ordered a custom tire cover - but I must say, the dealer went out of their way to make sure I left happy. They are NOT the typical used car lot. You really cant tell, but this far back, the engine was very accessible. I can see every spark plug (not in this picture but I could change them myself). I"ve owned two Crossfires with two tone Gray interiors, best interior ever, IMO. It's CRAP. And I GOTTA have AM!

Nice one Pizzaguy! Jeeps have a bad reputation for reliability and dealer support (they ream you), but like all cars, if they're maintained properly they'll be just fine.
I know, I've owned a 2012 KK Liberty Jet since new (the last one before the Fiat connection). BTW LIbertys are called Cherokees here in Australia.
