My '99 Jeep Cherokee (What color do you see)

Bought my "stone white" Cherokee 16 years ago today (April Fools Day). The last few days I have been giving it a through cleanup and detail after a long winter. While cleaning out the glove box I found the original window sticker and while reading it over I noticed the exterior color is listed Gunmetal Pearl.

My first thought was that the dealer put the wrong sticker in my Jeep but comparing the vin on the sticker to the one on the Jeep, they match. I had an online chat with Jeep Customer Service and their records show it to be Gunmetal Pearl. The only explanation they could offer was that between the time the dealer ordered the vehicle and the actual build date Gunmetal Pearl had been discontinued. While I don't plan on selling it I have to think that it's going to show up as Gunmetal on a Carfax and people are going to think it was repainted. The thing I find the hardest to believe is that it took 16 years to the day to find this out.

I'm not gonna ask why you bough a gunmetal pearl coat, which is blue, and brought home a white car but here's what it is supposed to be....

Gunmetal pearl is very pretty. 16 years is a long time to stew but,,,, maybe the dealer can fix it?
Or you could just keep the car until it rusts away (I had a '96) and no one will notice.
