A youtube video of the annual get together at Johnny's place.

Boy, I sure miss those days.

Enjoy: John's party - YouTube

A really close friend. The fella in the last cell passed recently and was one helluva' lot of fun, if I remember right.

Johhny, the owner of that gorgeous house (a converted 1890's dairy barn-I helped finish and shape the interior timbering) was all done by him and our buddies. 5400 square feet of perfection. The milking station in the basement is one of the most beautiful bars you'll ever see. The octagon shaped shot is the top floor of the silo. The hay mow is now his vehicle collection room-all red oak. 6 bays. Floors, walls and ceiling.

Did you notice the Studebaker convertible? He did that too-in his spare time.

With all these cool projects the guy has done, how does he have any time to make money to afford such things? LOL

Working at Wisconsin Power and Light for 30 years, since he was 20. Most of the stuff in/on that house was salvage! The entire kitchen/dining floor is old bowling alley maple. You can imagine what it looks like. He spent his spare time bidding on demolition jobs and keeping the cool stuff!

Wow, that brings back memories of my old days living in Minnesota and belonging to the classic car club. Loved going to the "Back to the 50's" event every July!

Keep us in the loop, half the family is in Port Washington/Saukville/Kenosha and I can always use that as an excuse to go to a car party and help you represent the XF
