New Project
My son borrowed my pickup to "move a washing machine" and it came back with these in it... I have been talking about the Honda 350 I had when I was a young guy and he found this one for us to restore, along with a CT 90 to fix up for Peggy to ride.
Should be a fun project.

My dad had a CB200 twin when I was a kid. Was a fun little bike to tool around in. I also had a CT70 that was a blast. Parts are still available for the 90 and they are still highly valued in this area.
Fun little projects your son picked up for you. Enjoy them!

Thanks guys for the well wishes, can't wait to tear into them, actually already have...

Congrats Rick, that's so cool. I had a new 1972 CL 350 Scrambler. Had a 1971 CL 100 Scrambler before that. I started looking at old Hondas last fall, I can't remember if I told you about it or not.
Now Barb and I are goiing to have to get a couple of scooters.lol

Here's the list of bikes I have had ( didn't own a car till I was 21 ) :
1954 Allstate scooter
1962 Triumph Bonneville
1963 Triumph Thunderbird
1963 Honda cb305 SuperHawk
1964 Triumph Bonneville
1965 Ducati Diana ( took this to Daytona - abysmal failure )
1968 Honda CB750 ( first year model )
1968 Honda trunk thingey 50cc ( can't remember the model )
( Had the 2 above painted Daytona Blue to match my 1967 Camaro RS, then completely chromed the 50cc thing and made it 65cc )
1969 Yamaha DT1 ( made a 1/4 mile short tracker with this )
1978 Yamaha 750 3 cylinder ( sold this when I moved to Atlanta and decided I wanted to live a bit longer )
The best bike of all of them : the Honda Super Hawk

Oh I know how lucky I am and don't take it for granted believe me. My oldest son and I redid a 68 mustang together and that was some of the best quality time ever, so this will be great to do with my other son and grandson.
just an update on the bikes, been riding th Trail 90 around the yard with the grandkids, haven't done anything cosmetic to it just got it runing good.
My CL 350 is running and rides up and down the road pretty well, did a lot of cleaning and painting still more to do but it is getting there.
My son found a 1971 CL 350 we have gotten running and started to fix up, he is thinking more on th lines of making a cafe racer out of his.
It is exciting to me to take something that hasn't run for 25 or 30 yrs and bring it back to life.

Rick I hope Adam thinks twice about making a cafe racer out of his 71. I know that's a very popular "mod" to make these days, but I never noticed how "British" looking the 1971 350 Scramblers were.
I just can't remember the specific model of Triumph, or BSA I'm thinking of.

^^^ Agree with this. So many nice bikes being cut up and destroyed for this café racer FAD. I'm guilty of it myself. Find a beater to café, not an original 43 year old bike! PLEASE!
