FS: New style OEM Foglamps and bulbs
I'm selling a set of new style OEM foglamps and blulbs. These only have about 12K on them and I purchased them new last year from the local dealership. These do not have the little bulb caps that fall off inside the lens like the old ones do and would be perfect for someone wanting to add them to their base model or for someone out of warranty that had the caps fall off their original ones. I left the pigtails on the car but I will include 2 new ones for an additional $20. I'm looking to $130 for the set shipped to anywhere in the lower 48 states. I will post pictures when I get home later today.
Thanks
Thanks
How hard are these to install ? ?
Are they brighter than the older ones with the caps ? ?
Put me down as the first one interested.

I thought mine were a little brighter than Jonny's and he has the old style with the cab but he thought mine were a noticeably brighter. It's really easy to install them but I would recommend taking the front wheels off so you have more room to move when you're putting them in there. Just three torx screws per side and they fit right in through the little access door in the fender liner. Pictures of them are attached below for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks

Gary- they are brighter than the old style. Intall silverstar bulbs in them and they look great with your HID's.
Gary, I don't know if I would use Sivlerstar bulbs... you will wear-out the socket replacing them all the time
So I have heard.

James- I agree the low beams on my cars did not last as long as normal bulbs but the highs and fogs lasted several years due to the fact they are not on all the time. Gary should be fine using the silverstars since he does not drive a lot in the dark. They do look much better with HID's. Standard bulbs look really yellow and strange looking with HID.
Actually Valk, another member paid for them over the weekend and I wasn't around the computer to see the payment come through.
