if you can get the complete sl55 setup for 250 without the cover you better jump on it!

parts .com has the breakdown of the intake setup and its 650$

I have worked with LET, they are great guys and would more then likely get you a New SL55 set up for a great price. $400 is over the top for broken used parts in my book!

first of all LET no longer has the setup for sale. tried them first no luck. i posted the prices new for the complete sl55 setup if you find it cheaper i suggest you buy it! all im asking is what i have in it less shipping. the airboxes alone are 170+ $ and you need 2 the center cover is 150$+ thats not including any tubes y splitter or clamps
just to clarify the only sl55 y splitter TVT has is 1 with the same broken top clip that wanted to sell to me! it was them that said it would work fine. i tried on mine and it seals fine
it truly amazes me how someone who isnt interested in buying something will be the first to complain how overpriced it is. i appreciate you looking but if you dont want to buy why not move on to some decals or luggage for your ride

Dealers actual cost(when I bought mine last year) on the comlpete SL55 intake setup is $259................I know that because that's what I paid brand new in the boxes. I don't know what the covers cost is though.

I paid $263 for the one I bought.

It's fine that you're trying to sell your setup here but you tried to sell it on MBWorld and got pretty much the same response so I don't think any of this should come as a surprise to you.

according to parts.com the oem price for the setup with the cover is 928$ from parts.com at their price is 640$

the price im asking is what i have in the parts. if it sells fine if not ill put it on the shelf but im not giving the stuff away.
at 800$ for the needswings dual cai if the cost of the sl55 setup was only 250 i would think most would get it. but they havent due to the high cost at this time

the airboxes alone are 266$ each from the dealership # 9,10,11,12 can no longer be bought separatley. its listed as #8 and runs 178$ from the dealer

I've seen a few of these in near perfect condition sell at the $150 - $175 shipped range. I'd pay $125 for you damaged kit.

The SL55 intake flows the roughly the same as a single NW intake depending on how and who is taking the measurments so comparing it to a dual is irrelevant. As far as what it's costs are, it all depends on who you know and how much business you do with a particular vendor and your relationship with that vendor. I'm sitting on a couple things from the MB dealer because I know that returning them isn't worth jeopardizing my pricing with them because they know if they sell me something, they're never dealing with it again. I understand you may have X amount of money into this intake but it's perceived value is far lower than what you paid for it. I hate selling something knowing I didn't buy it right or I bought it right but didn't sell it at the right time and end up losing money on it but your first loss is your best loss and it's not going to go up in value sitting on a shelf. I have no need for one but even if I did, you're asking far more than the market bears. The other thing you have to ask yourself is what would something used be worth if it wasn't painted? This lowers the number of people in your audience as well. Your best bet if you're set on $400 is to offer the entire thing prepped, primed and painted the color of the buyers choosing. Someone might bite on it then. Not lambasting you by any means but you have to understand where we are coming from as well.
