I wreck my crossfire in the first week of October. They said we are #37 in line and they have been back ordered for 6 months... That was at the dealership. They said it has to do with the Mercedes/Chrysler relationship right now. Something about not being able to buy parts from Mercedes for the Crossfire and only having whats in stock left and not having any idea of when and if they will ever get any more. I searched Junk Yards nationwide through car-part.com and found one in Utah and it has a dent and they want $650 for it and they won't ship it. Since I am in Indiana... not gonna happen. About the same deal with the upper grill but there is the option of a billet through AirBagit.com and I think I'm going to have to go that route. But I NEED A HOOD!

 

I just got mine out of the body shop and I had to go with the billet grille as OEM is on two month back order !
My guy was able to find a hood pretty quickly, I believe thru Chrysler !

 

Yeah, they checked through Chrysler and there was none available and are on a 6 month backorder with no guarantee that I'll get one on the first shipment. Theres 37 people ahead of me... crappy deal!

 

Sure wish one of the promised Carbon hoods would follow through.
