Anyone interested in an AMG Supercharger???
Hey All,
I don't know if anyone is interested in this but while I was looking around on eBay I saw this. It doesn't do me any good but I thought maybe someone on the forum might be interested.
The current price seems pretty reasonable and it says only 7 thousand miles sooo....
Here is the link;
C32/SLK32/SRT6 OEM AMG Mercedes Supercharger : eBay Motors (item 260541994955 end time Jan-29-10 10:09:06 PST)
Stay safe...
Respectfully,
Paul (MisterTaz)

Jeez! All my old stuff is showing up on eBay... Last week my old car was on there, this week it's my old supercharger, next week it'll be my old girlfriend... EEK!
Not sure why Anthony didn't post this for sale here or on MB world or point anyone toward the auction but I sold him this supercharger last year and while it came off a C32, it had 60K on the clock, so he couldn't have pulled this off a running C32 with only 7K.

I'm not the seller on this one. I sold Rudy's in november. There's a shop I work with that just bought a wrecked SLK32 for a widebody project and 2JZ swap (yea I don't know the details) so this may be theirs. The cracked plug thing is pretty common on these used units, and that's the only thing I remember being the same as the one I had.
I bid on it though so maybe I'll be lucky and get it at a steal and save on some shipping. Price is real low right now.

It's mine and I don't wanta pay too much for it!
ok, I was replying when the .org site went down, so here goes again. I noticed the same thing Tighed. As soon as rudy posted that, I went to Anthony's profile and noticed he was viewing the thread. I was waiting patiently for his reply.
I certainly hope there is a happy ending here. Not looking well I am afraid.
Edit: Great.... The site is back up, but my post is time traveling. LOL

I'm sure that there is a perfectly good reason behind what's going on. I mean Andrew would have zero reason to lie about the SC especially since he's not even the one the drew attention to it. If he was selling it I sure he would've posted it here or one of the MB forums. I don't think he's too much of a ebay fan and once the auction is over he'll probably give details of exactly what the case is with the SC. I mean it could be from that other shop. For all we know it was pulled from a running car and that shop is doing a 2jz on a SLK. Maybe the account used was actually one of his ebay accounts, but he didn't realize his email addy was still attached to it though. He will probably fix that now that Rudy has brought it to his attention.
And if I recall correctly I believe his ebay name is euro_ecu, and he's not all that active on the selling side.
Then again I could be wrong. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what he has to say.

Just for a heads up though my ebay name is euro_ecu, not all that active on the selling side.

A search of Anthony's email address within ebay yielded this result...

My supercharger...

The one listed by vdog313...

Take note of the shape of the cracks on the connector, and the dirt and blue paint.
Again, my supercharger...

vdog313's supercharger...

Take note of the serial numbers and the dirt.
Anthony, how can you be dishonest with everyone on the forum like this. What are you trying to hide? I'm very disappointed by this as I am sure your peers here on the forum are as well.

Eh, that reply still sounds quite fishy ... the only good response would be that he (or someone) posted pictures of the wrong supercharger on the ebay auction. Then, even if that wasn't the case, he could've sent out a lower mileage supercharger to the winning bidder and kept his reputation.
and why wait until after the auction is over? Nobody knows whether to bid or not until the information is all out
... and what other info could he throw out there besides what he posted?
A large single turbo 2jz in an SLK sounds interesting though, lol.

Nothing adds up. euro_ecu (bidder with 189 feedback rating) was bidding on this before MisterTaz posted the link here, if you look at vdog313 and euro_ecu feedback profiles, you'll see they both have left feedback for each other in the past so even if there was no connection between the two individuals and everything was on the up and up, they have done business before and the likelihood of forgetting a seller/buyer that is in the same town as you is pretty hard all things considered and lastly, when you list an auction up on ebay, they email you a notification summary that the auction has been listed. You don't miss something like this.
