James
We are in the process of moving from one facility to another where I work, and therefore they have put a freeze on all vacation until at least mid-May.

I work at Nissan, specifically the global PDC (service-parts redistribution center) and our current facility is half-million sq. feet

We are moving into a brand-new, custom-built PDC with over 750,000 sq feet.

So... busy month ahead. Saturdays aren't even guaranteed...

Auto Art South... (it's on the street I live on, right across from Gateway)

I think what helped me on price is that the wing is solid, therefore there's no flex-additive needed. Saves a ton-o-cash.

Hey John, some of us coupe owners need a huge favor. We need you to be a trailblazing pioneer

Mad Med has the shop in StL that is doing the CF hood, he said they could easily do the SRT wing as well, but have nothing to work from

If the wing would come back to you in 100% the same shape as when it went out, would you be even willing to entertain the idea?? (I have no idea if they destroy the part in making the mold or what the deal actually is)

Thanks for your time

If you had caught me a week ago (before I painted it), perhaps... But after the "take two" I just made the paint guy do (due to a light "fish eye" effect on the clearcoat), I think it would be a bit hypocritical to then send it off to have a mold formed around the part, risking losing part altogether. In fact, it's my nit-picky nature that has resulted in me not installing the part tonight. But, the clearcoat on the base plate was very slightly dimpled... like the skin of an orange. About every 5mm or so, there was a tiny "fish eye" where the clearcoat didn't stick very well. They either rushed the clear, or sprayed it when there was too much humidity. The wing, however, was perfect. And it looks GAWJUS.

Also, I've already discarded the massive box that was required to ship both parts... the box was almost as big as my futon. I'd have to spend another ~$100 just to ship it one way...

So, it's a no go.... sorry bud.

Not helping out the group, huh John??

LOL, I am totally kidding, I had NO idea you had already had the thing painted, I didn't even realize you had it in your possession and was trying to reroute it beforehand. No problem, Brian (ImportlabSRT) is a real team player and has offered his wing if the hood comes out as good as we are all hoping for. I can not figure out which I would like to see more, the alabaster with an SRT wing or my blacked out beauty with a CF hood and CF SRT wing

Howard, just take the bumper off your SRT..... Drive it to Nashville, and bolt the new one on when you get there. LOL

That bites; these lying dealerships told me they were out.

Glad you were able to snipe one, though...
