Jack up the rear and use a jack stand with a piece of wood on top to go under the rear differential. Or simply jack it up from the rear diff and do what you need to do by putting your stands under the jack points on each side....

i had the same thought. by a floor jack makes everything so much easier. like 140$ at sears. i got craftsmen with leds on it. aha dosent do me wrong. not high enough for trucks or suvs. but lifts higher n stronger then out oem one. and makes me feek a whole lot safer under the car banging around. rather then that wimpy *** jack they give us. thats for change a spare tire only lol. cause u try jacking front an back up at the same time with our oem jack theres alot of wobble play. ive tried an failed at this an had to buy new rotors. just my advice. i could sell u a jack just not for a xfire. will do the same job though. let me know

I am not sure if I read this right, but DO NOT use two jacks to jack up both sides of the car. It will fall off the jack.

Sorry if that was hard to understand. I've been sick for 5 days. Havnt left my bed. Lol. Wat I was trying to say is, that its very risky id say to jack the car up on both sides with thoose little wimpy jacks. There for changeing one tire at a time. Have I done wat ur trying to do, yes but I've had my car fall. So all I'm trying to tell you is go out an buy ur self a decent jack. U can support the rear end from the middle an get both tires off the ground. Much faster jacking up as well and u can use it on any car. If u still are interested in another jack I may have one for a jeep patriot laying around with will do the same thing as our oem one

No worries, I understood your post. It was the first one of this thread that scared me. These OEM jacks will not support a car if you try to raise more than one corner with two of them. They have no side to side strength and the car will fall off the jacks. Even a floor jack on one side and the factory jack on the other side is unsafe as the floor jack is on wheels and will allow the car to move and fall of the jack. You need to use jack stands. I perfer to use a floor jack to lift the car and jack stands to keep it up while I am under it.

Thanks guys, thought I just found someone to take this jack off my hands.. j/k

no, it does sound really unsafe. Be safe and save that car and you some pain.

If anyone does need a jack, let me know.

i have 1 for $30

Anyone going under a car supported by a jack has got to be taking a risk. JACK STANDS and good ones too.

How much are you guys willing to pay. Feel free to PM. I have my original jack as most of us probably do. However, I personally feel they are completely useless. Not to mention it is now held captive under my sub woofer. Shoot me a pm with a convincing offer.

Thanks,

FJP

I just bought another car which is a 2004 MB E500. It has the exact same jack as my Crossfire. anyone needing a jack could look at MB jacks.
