How to Jack Up Front, Jack Pad Missing
Is there any way I can jack up the front right side of my car with the jack pad missing? Because after looking for a replacement jack pad for the front right of the car for a month, I still have no luck finding one on here and I am not going to wait any longer to paint my calipers and rims as the weather is getting warmer. So any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks again guys!

2 choices :
1. move it to the front ( they come off easily with the plastic screw )
2. just jack it up high in the rear ( using a floor jack ), the front tire will also come up eventually.

Don't get mad at me if this is wrong, but I replaced the jack pad on my C55, and I seem to recall when doing some research that basically all Mercedes SLK and C class models used the same part.
You can buy it here for dirt cheap!
Search - RM European Auto Parts
Again, I can't guarantee it will fit but honestly for the price I would buy one just to check. Very easy to replace. All it is is a fat black plastic plug that screws into the frame with a flathead screwdriver.
I have purchased from rmeuropean a few times and have always been pleased with relatively quick shipping.

Even though my jack pads are intact(a little beat up from previous owner), I use a small piece of 3/4" rubber horsestall mat that I cut. I have one size for the jack pads, and a larger one for the rear diff.. This material is near bullet proof, and pliable enough to spread the load evenly, so it does no damage what so ever.
I always wondered if an NHL hockey puck would fit nicely in that area.
It looks close to the size, and heaven knows it's sturdy...lol...

It works great for me.

Great, something else I have to buy.......
Thanks.
I wound up jacking up the back all the way, which did lift the front. and then i just put floor jacks under the rear and front as safety precautions

It fit perfectly. I keep that piece in my trunk in case of emergency.
