I'm selling my barely used Ruff Racing R281 rims with Falken 452 Summer Tires. I bought these rims last year brand new and only used them in the summer. The tires and rims only have about 1,000 miles on them. They where only on the car for about 4 months. These rims do not have the TPMS on them so your warning light will come on but as soon as the stock rims go back on the light will go off. You can also have the TPMS sensors installed if you wish to do so. The front rims are 18's and the rears are 19's. The rims are also staggered and you do not need wheel spacers to run these rims. I have the chrome lugs as well as the chrome wheel locks. Look in my signature if you want an idea of what they looked like on my Crossfire. The tires are already mounted and balanced all you have to do is put them on your Crossfire and go. I paid over $2,000 for these rims. My reason for selling these beautiful rims is because I sold my Crossfire last month. These rims are in mint condition and I hope they go to a great owner who will appreciate them as much as I did. I'm asking $1500 or BEST OFFER send me a PM if interested and I will give you my phone number and e-mail. I only wanna do a local pickup due to the costs to ship these.

These are tempting me bigtime. I have gauges to buy that are over a grand, but I really like these. Probably would like them a little more if you had went bigger on the rear tires. I am thinking about it, and pick up isn't a problem for this old trucker...Let's see how your sale goes and I will be thinking about it. I like them...

 

Sounds good. I'm planning on giving it a week on the forum then throwing them on ebay if no one is interested. I really like the rims as well and I wish I didn't have to give them up but I have no cars that these rims will fit on properly. I figured I would give someone on these forums a chance at them since they where on a Crossfire and everyone on here has been so great to me. If I have no other offers within a week and your still interested but wanna hold off for a little while I can always hold onto them for you. I would much rather have these rims go to someone on here.

I have a few rears end, LSDs coming at a couple of grand, and I still need to order my guages from Rob, plus a tune coming up from EC...so, if you can sell them, do so, here or ebay, and if for some reason they don't sell, then give me a jingle back and see where I am. Do the rear rims stick out passed the tire? Is there tire protecting the edge of the rim?

 

No the rims don't stick out past the tire. If that was the case then every time you took a turn you would chew up your rims.

 

Sounds like your pretty busy. I will let you know if I can't sell them and if I do sell them I will let you know as well so it's not bugging you anymore .

Sorry to see you go, Cody. What did you end up with after selling the XF?

 

Well the the Crossfire was my daily driver and it was ruff getting though the winter especially this year. It was a combination of gas mileage, not having a backseat for my girlfriends kid, and the fear of something going wrong with the car and the price to fix it. If I would have known how expensive this car could be maintenance wise I would of never bought it. I did like the car though and I had a blast with everyone. I will still be on the forums every so often. I ended up buying a 2009 Scion TC TRD Release Series 5.0. I got one of 2000 made. Not really fast by any means but great on gas and a good looking car.

 

Can't blame you one bit, Cody. My sister has had a Tc since late 2004 and now with almost 100K on it, she has had zero issues and enjoys over 30MPG in an attractive sport coupe.

Have fun with it.

 

I havn't done anything yet with it but I'm gonna get the windows tinted soon and thinking about a cold air intake for starters then maybe if I can keep the car for about four years I will get a turbo kit for it. Since it's a special release TC it has a couple of mods straight from the factory that no other TC gets.
