Default WTB: A Mighty Hot Fog Light.

The little button fell off my fog light, and according to my search here, it's no big deal. In fact some folks just take 'em both off. But it looks to me that they act like a heat shield. Because mine seems to haven gotten so hot that the lens shattered completely. So now, damnit ...

WTB: Passenger-side fog light. Glass lens case or complete unit.

PM if you can help. Thanks.

You will need the complete assy. Plenty guys run them without the button and no problems with the glass shattering.

Curious, are you running 55w OEM bulbs, or the optional 100w?

Just OEM bulbs, but I should have mentioned that I use my fogs as DRL's. So on a trip running thru hot 97* Florida all day, IMO it definitely looks like the heat got the better of the glass case by the way it shattered, or rather, exploded.

Rats.
