I need a 2004 drivers side headlight!!!
I need someone to help me out with a drivers side headlight. Anyone have one for sale? The shop I have my car at "misplaced" the one I purchased. lol Its the only thing left before it can be inspected. Thanks in advance.
I have one (both actually) from my 2005 Roadster. It's OEM and in good shape, but it's not mint, it has the fine lines in the top of it from age. I guess they all did or do this. I tried to get the dealer to replace it under warranty, they said they would but that was back when Chrysler was going bankrupt and they would not talk to me. So when I did the bumper upgrade I replaced both with aftermarket new. I don't know what I have is worth, so make me an offer and we can go from there.

Well I got a pair from ebay this summer that claimed to be OEM, they came from Malaysia. I would think they would come from Germany yes ? I paid $375 each for them. The look great however... the adjustment for the focusing is questionable. I never disputed them as original or aftermarket simply because removing them requires removing the front fascia (according to the body shop that installed them) .
Removing the headlights does NOT require removing front fascia, although I will admit that it is a heck of a lot easier if you do.
The key is the adjustment collar on the bottom of each that is next to the grille.
Once the securing bolt is removed, just spin this collar out by hand and that will give you the extra room needed for removal.
Upon reinstallation, get the light back in, start the collar back in a few turns, then secure the headlight with the upper bolts. Screw the adjustment collar back in until it once again just touches the lower mounting bracket, put the bolts back in and you are done !
( these adjustment collars in the bottom of the headlights are there to compensate for the variances of the body panel clearances that can occur during assembly )

They are the 2 hollow bolts on each side of the bottom of the assembly that the 2 bottom bolts go through to secure the headlight.
They are adjustable up/down to account for variences during factory assembly.
