edit - in response to sellers condescending email and me being mentioned in above post :
WE REALLY DO NEED SOME RULES FOR SELLING ITEMS ON THIS FORUM
I attempted to work out an amicable payment type other than sending a "Cashiers Check" to a complete stranger with only 15 posts on this forum. Unfortunately, seller is not interested in a solution.
Sorry if I bruised your ego.

What would you suggest the "rules" be, that a seller has to agree to a buyers form of payment?
Bottom line you lost out. You could have purchased $1,169.90 worth of parts for $464.98!
PS-What does the number of posts have to do with my selling some unneeded parts? The reason I sold the SRT6 was after having it go into limp mode in a very precarious spot and reading on the site that this is not really uncommon, I sold the car. Just because a forum member doesn't feel the need to voice their opinion, or hijack a thread does not equate to non participation.

Lost out on your parts???? You mean I refused your one sided terms.
I absolutely tried to work out a solution and clearly stated my reasoning :
1) Far too many forum members here have never received the goods after sending Cashiers Checks to other forum members with very few posts.
2) I work hard for my money and I'm not going to leave myself open to loss via fraud.
Other things wrong with our deal:
Firstly, you tried to charge me for the shipping (was supposed to be included in the DCAI price) plus you don't even have all the parts for the DCAI. It would cost me an additional $100 for the missing parts after shipping and duty.
I even said I would pay your Paypal fees and shipping fees to me..........no compromise, therefore no deal.
Your last email to me where you tried to show me you were the big banking exec that I was not trusting, makes me even more suspicious. Good banking Execs or anyone in a high level management position would never respond the way you have. I would guess your Daddy of the same name may be the actual exec., as I am doubtful you'd be capable.
It's funny that one of your first posts here on this forum was about checking on the integrity of Rob and Needswings when all your parts did'nt arrive on time to your satifaction. It was OK for you to be skeptacle but it's not okay for me? Everyone here assured you that Needswings and Rob both have a stellar reputation on this forum. This (NEEDSWINGS) is where I'll be purchasing my DCAI. No more farting around with fly by night sellers.
You know where you can put your DCAI !!!
Rob, I'll be calling you soon.

I don't know of any better way of initiating and closing a sale than PayPal. Sorry to here your putting good parts on a shelf to colect dust. Hope it all works out for you.. Squirrel Crusher
I agree wholeheartedly with Sparkie. I was burned for $500 back in my naive days when I sent a money order to a forum member (not this forum) I trusted was selling me a hood, because it was one of a kind. They had pictures and everything. Guess what? He was a fraud. Took the money and ran, no way for me to get the money back. I contacted every law enforcement agency I could that dealt with online fraud and there was very little interest in helping me.
Paypal is the most legit way to pay for goods and services, as you are guaranteed to get a refund if the goods/services are not provided. The fact that Sparkie offered to pay the Paypal fees and shipping and you STILL wouldn't work with him, tells me he was willing to go above and beyond and that you are not a good seller.
And your childish response is similar to the little kid that gets butt-hurt over something stupid and says "I'm taking my toys and going home."

Tom, your "buttinsky" is why Sparkie noted that I rarely post on this site. Do you have a dog in this fight?
Sparkie chose not to share all are email exchanges. He was given the information to verify exactly who I am. He was also told why I don't use PayPal.
Bottom line you are correct I can take the parts that I paid for months ago and put them on a shelf. So who loses, the money I spent at NeedsWings for the parts for sale is long gone. Sparkie has said he will call Rob and pay the $799.95 for a new one. Guess Rob is the only winner.
