Just need to be good on a mig and should be to bad.
Making bolt on brackets would be alot better than the weld on, it is not like welding on a old truck frame this is thin steel and trying to weld very thin to very thick is not a good idea, and welder set not to burn through thin will not be hot enough for any penetration on the thicker and will break, I have seen nice looking welds, hit with a hammer and the plate falls off, popped off the weld with 0 penetration. some welding tricks to help but much better making a bolt on kit Send us lots of pics please and gl :) |
