Thanks, I was the one looking for a CF one to match the front CF that is coming with my hood... I had reservations about CF wrap or hydro dip as I don't know how different it would look... and maybe I'm just being silly but I would love "real" CF as much as possible... More to the point that I don't want to have so much "fake" CF on my car that people start thinking the hood is "fake" too... or am I just being too dramatic?
I doubt you are going to find a true carbon fiber rear.. When you get your front one in, might take some good pictures of it and email some of the hydro places.. see what they say about how close it will match up? Or if you know of a good custom painter in your area.. otherwise I'd say you stuck with OEM..
my other options are get a new front stock chrome emblem (mine is broken) or just have both the front CF and rear OEM painted a different color... decisions decisions
Ahemm.. I emailed an ebay vendor that seemed to have access to a fair amount of parts.. are you ready... LOL
Dear mrmiata,

I've found a couple of the front for around $100 but I'm going to wait to see how I like the CF version
I'll be darned.. sent him an "ouch..got anything in the gently used department".. and his response..
Dear mrmiata,
look, let me see what i can do for you so tomorrow let work on it to see if i can give you a break.

I used the broken front emblem as an excuse to get a carbon fiber hood... In my head, I just subtracted the $200-$300 for the emblem from the cost of the CF hood and told myself it was a great deal!
Hmmm horses..broke emblem.. wonder if I could slide that logiic past my wife.. LOL..
Sorry to burst your bubble, but your hood is not technically 'real' CF either, it is simply an overlay on fiberglass. I am getting ready to sell my hydrographic windshield surround because it does not match the hood well enough. I would go with something that does not stick out, or clash, like flat black, but that is just my opinion...
