Figured since I'm in the middle of doing my first one I'd give an update to the time frame I originally posted here. I said delay's could come up so 2 weeks - 1 month. It's unfortunate but given the circumstances it looks like this one takes the farther end of that estimate. I wanted to state though, this will not be the case for future swaps. Had the engine shipping company not dropped the motor and got it to me in a reasonable amount of time I'd probably be done already. We are coming up on 2 weeks this wednesday since I received the motor and car... Which both showed up the same day, and was also a major inconvenience.

 

2 weeks! Not again!

 

Lol don't worry, I'm not going in blind claiming things I know nothing about lol.

It's going, it's just going slowly.

I'm almost done with the engine work, everything else is ready. I finally jumped from contractor to civil service and that took a full week off of the project and all of my weekday nights after work.

Been running into issues like crazy with the motor but I want everything perfect for Korey and he'd rather me take my time and do it right then mess about, so it will be done soon, but I'm not rushing any part of this. I really hoped the first would go smooth but there's a million reasons it's taking longer than expected. I told Korey last night I expect two more weekends. I'm rebuilding the intake manifold right now.
