5.0 Swap special
You'll be responsible for transportation. I will offer a warranty on parts that I change or add for 1 year. Everything will go in, in a stock condition. Turn around will be quick but delay's can come up if there are issues. I would say 2 weeks - 1 month. I will buy the parts once the money is in hand, and the motor I buy for you will not exceed 80,000 miles.
EDIT: You have the option of taking back your old motor and any parts left over from the V6. But you're responsible for transportation and such.
EDIT: The price will be $7,000

Josh, you should start saying "M113 5.0L V8 " Cause unfortunately just 5.0 is forever tied to ford Garbage , I saw you had to clarify on facebook too. Im just surprised someone on this forum would be thinking that..
All along I had been thinking that the M113 was a M112 with 2 additional cylinders.
Silly me.
The M112 is 533 CC's per cylinder, whereas the M113 is 625 CC's per .......
( the displacement increase is 36%, not the 25% I had originally thought )

It's actually pretty funny when I see these types of comments. Just internet tough guys thinking they know everything lol. Sorry, but based off of that comment, you probably can't even change your own oil.
I wanted to edit and update. Given recent events with members and thought on everything, I can understand why people are hesitant or unable to throw the mass amounts of money I ask for swaps. I am willing to take a "hit" (IMHO), if it actually brings anyone in. I've been asked a hundred million times how much it cost's, so I know there's interest. I'm just waiting for people to step up.
New price for the time being will be $7,000 for a full 5.0 swap start to finish.

Ok, that gave me a laugh. I've seen this post headline a few times without reading it and thought, Why the hell would you put a Mustang 5.0 engine in a crossfire, LOL
I really should've put Benz 500 in the heading Lmao. I just figured the forum would've seen my name and just figured lol. Sorry for the confusion everyone haha.
And in all honesty, if the electronics were to work stock, I would like that engine in the crossfire. My whole thing is that they are expensive, Ford, and damn near nothing would work lol. Not sure how sophisticated Ford's electronics are now, but they've probably caught up to '98 Benz tech, so I doubt the engine would even start without an aftermarket ECU lol.
well, 7k seems like a good price, I just have to find a good cheap car to put it in....and I have yet to find that 1500.00 XF....lol.... Yeah, I know I am a tight ***....
My profit would be little, but that little extra to me would save someone the hassle of figuring out the fabrication, and the trial and error of the little things to add or change to save them from... Well, effing the bay up because they should've tied this here, not there, or strapping down the motor mounts, or recessing the radiator, or running this fan, not that fan. All stuff that no one knew, so they couldn't tell me. The few that did know never said anything to me when I asked so I went in blind, and had a grand in repairs after one month because the motor torquing over and the mechanical fan hitting the shroud, destroying my coolant reservoir, upper radiator hose, the radiator, and my top radiator support, with more little things here and there.
So for me, it's easy to justify my original asking price for swaps. It's not just parts and labor. It's knowledge along with custom fab work. I know what not to do now.
Either way, I want to help the community and I could use the extra money to buy cool garage tools
Same here lol. I would love to get a really really cheap xfire and just go crazy. That's kind of how mine was when I bought it. It was on the cheaper side, just not dirt like theft or something. That's why I didn't mind cutting, ripping, pulling and experimenting on it lol. I need to get my lazy butt in gear and start tackling the little things. The steering wheel is going to get painted white/black to match the car. I already debadged it and filled in the hole.

Yo J.
Maybe the "2 weeks" thingy is scaring them off!
Hahahahaha ok, 13 days - 1 month! Better?
I think that would be a pretty damn good plan.
