Offered here is a Crossfire 3:27 rear differential that has the WaveTrac unit already installed AND including the modified TCM (Transmission Control Module) so this package is plug and play / ready to install into an SRT6, run and enjoy.

Background: This package originally came from forum member Grip Grip who sold it to forum member BigKid just a few days before his untimely passing in March 2014. I bought it from Jim's widow and have just never gotten around to installing it. I've recently decided that my heavily modified SSB SRT6 roadster is now fast enough and I'm just going to start enjoying it without making any further performance modifications.

What is modified for the TCM? I thought the SRT had 3.07 gearing stock?

Yes, but what could I expect if this fits my 2002 SLK32 AMG. Small change in gears should help some but the posi is for racing. I need to know about axle fitment. Thanks guys, you have my respect!

 

you would need one peace axles from any crossfire 2005 up.

How many miles are on it? How many drag strip passes did grip grip make on it? As for the axles will this fit the SRT?

Was the tcu tuned in any other way outside of gear ratio modification?

Answers to your questions are:

3) As for the axles will this fit the SRT? I am told this unit will bolt right into an SRT6 (may need an SRT6 yoke) but I am not an expert . . . You'll need to have one piece axles . . .

4) Was the tcu tuned in any other way outside of gear ratio modification? I believe there were other modifications done but Rudy is not answering e-mails about this so I can't be sure.

Grip Grip (Anthony) is probably the best source to get information on this differential and the TCM . . .
