Default Flying Aston Martin

I was doing some research on Mid Ohio Raceway for our NASA Nationals next September and ran across this fun little video at the track.

Or his tongue out of his throat...

PS: I noticed that you are from Phoenix... You should take a little day trip out to Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) on December 9th or 10th and watch the AZ division races of NASA... Some of my friends from the So, Cal Div. will be running. I was invited to race, but I'm rebuilding my Crossfire for next season...

I can't... We finished our season here in So. Cal. on Nov. 12th and I made plans to put the car into the shop to get it ready for next season... Many of my friends are going to be running PIR in December... You should just take a drive out to see the AZ chapter... Though since it's so close to Christmas I don't know how many cars will be racing... Here's the info for the AZ group.

Derek,
What's so interesting about that "flight" was how flat the car stayed...no roll, pitch...that's one lucky driver. What would you say about 30-50 ft in the air?
Mid Ohio is a weird little track with it's elevation changes, but never thought (knew) there was a berm before a run off area...

I thought the same thing, it was like a paper airplane being tossed by a child... I think the announcer said 142' ... gotta get back to the garage and rip some more metal out of the car... I wanna fly like that ...

I was looking at some old threads and came across this, nice video. Are you planning on being at Mid Ohio in September? If you are, that would be a great time for a little get together, I believe there are a few members around who would make that trip. It would be a blast to watch you race.
