My 2007 NASA racing season has taken a potential turn for the worse. The sanctioning body has just released then new 2007 rules which severely handicap cars that have certain modifications and weight reduction. These new rules bump my Crossfire up to TTC class with cars like 911's, NSX's, Ferrari 360's to name a few.

Also, since I have been here in New Orleans working on this movie, I accepted a six month production in South Carolina, which means I'll be racing half the season on tracks like Road Atlanta, Carolina Motor Speedway, Roebling Road and Rockingham, all of which I have no experience driving.

Oh well, time to make the car really fast with some radical mods.

Ouch -- that really hurts! Just when you start to think things are turning for the better, they dump these new changes on you. Not fair at all...

Well... I'll have to see how my schedule is... maybe I can make my way out there.

I will be competing in the marquee sports category which only limited modifications are possible but with a string finish in the last round of this year will be competitive.

 

Announce if you will be running VIR since I live only an hour away from there I might make a stop by and watch.
