I've run a couple times at the track and the best I could get was a 15.113@ 93.99 with a 2.365 60'. This car gets no traction if you launch any higher then 2k and the traction control is extremely intrusive.

I've got dual straight pipes and an intake set-up, but apparently anything sort of a chip does nothing for this car.

If you can tell me how to shave 0.5 sec off my time I'd love to hear it, right now it's consistent 15.1 all day long.

first of all, what is your elevation? secondly, the t/c should not intrude at all...with a proper launch and run, you would launch at approximately 1,800 - 2,500 rpm (depending on conditions, tires, ect.) ease into full throttle, and go full throttle when you are certain you have traction.

the reason you find your t/c kicking in is because you are mashing the throttle...same way the people on the forza motorsport tv show were running like 14 sec 1/4 miles in c6 vettes.

I think my tires are shot. I ease into throttle and get the best 60' times. With mashing it the best I got was 3.03.

What pressure are you running in the back? What tires do you have?

what rpm are you launching at, that's really bad. i was snapping off 2.1's with all season tires on the 1/8th mile track.

I've launched from idle up to 2,500. At 2,500 it was the worse, but around 1,200 - 1,500 I got the best 2.35. But the TC kicks in really bad and kills the car.

doesn't our crossfire have a launch controller?...i ran it at an 1/8 mile track last week...sat it at the launch controller which is just under 4k didn't "dump" but kept constant throttle pressure as the clutch was released and bone stock ran 9.9 at 72 mph...no TC kick in or anything.

I ran my car last year and it was the first time I ran a stick car down the track. Right out of the box I thought that turning off the T/C and launching at 2K would be best and I was right and turned a 14.8@94 mph, can't remember the reaction time but IIRC it was in the 2.3's. I wish you could completely turn off the system because even when its turned OFF, its still ON and it retards the timing still and applies the brakes. IMO the car has another 2-3ths in it!
