My dad just bought an 08 CTS with the 3.6 direct injection v6 with 304hp and 275ft lbs. He walked off and left me setting at the light......

 

You either need enough $$ to buy the same car as your dad, or you need an srt6.

time to trade in for the ole srt6 lol I remember a very similar situation with my limited and my old man. Only it was a Buick Grand National, traded for an SRT6 lol and now he wont race, he has a chip for running crazy boost if he wanted to switch them out, I think then he could still take me but i don't know with the new pulley lol that will show him

i didnt realize but i just looked it up and the new cts with direct injection v-6 does 0-60 in 5.7
