i have the only z in the area, at least i think so, i have never seen another around, right now, it just has lightweight flywheel, act clutch, injen intake, nismo header, berk high flow cats, nismo cat-back, and motordyne plenum spacer, and the eiback lowering springs, koni adjustable shocks, lightweight 19's with nitto 555's. it has veilside front lip, stillen rear wing, white leather , over winter it will be getting a powerlab gt-35r single turbo kit, look that one up , 400whp only on 6.5 lbs, i am going to have the motor built and run as much boost as she will take, most likely will have a conservative everyday tune for about 14 lbs. and then maybe a high boost tune if it will take it, we will see what the dyno shows once its on. Will be built and tuned by the best. performance factory also i love that comment on nitrous and the std chick, lol, if anyone is interested in a zex kit let me know.

i live in upstate ny, i have never seen another one around here, and the other day i saw three crossfires, a red convertible, black hard top and a black convertible identical to my old one, couldn't believe it. . yes i will keep you updated, i can't wait to get that rolling, just wanna get more use out of the car before it goes up for winter, and thats when this will be taking place. also i stated i have a nitrous kit for sale, i have wheels and tires too if anyone is looking if i haven't stated this yet.can't stand just looking at them sit in the garage everyday.

first mod i ever purchased was the driver mod, everyone should invest in that i guess, lol. . it was a 03 s2000 if that makes a difference, i know there times fluctuated a little throughout the years, and 05 xfire which doesn't matter. Def. was a nice kill though and a confidence booster in the xfire. rolling on the highway one day with just intake and exhaust i hung with a stock 00 z28 pretty good, i mean his car was faster but not much. best race i had with the crossfire was when i was on the spray (75 shot) i raced a 02 z28 with some bolt ons that went 13.2 at the track and we were basically dead nuts until we had to lift for traffic at about 115 from a 40 roll. never got a chance to do it again but i think i would have pulled on him a little as we kept going. like i said on the bottle of course

I could have sworn it didnt take 1.3 seconds to go from 95-100 last time I ran my car.. Seeing this makes me want to work on my mustang, i could be running 12's if I spend like $2000 on the mustang or running low 14's in the crossfire with that same $2k .

are you saying that you hung with a m5 in a n/a crossfire, because i hope you don't think that is the case, a crossfire would get raped by a m5, at least a newer one. and a g35 would def. get a crossfire, sorry just hard to believe this. especially being a previous owner of a n/a crossfire and now a z which is very similar to a g35, im telling you now my z pulls way harder than my crossfire, and i truly think my z the way it sits now would get my old crossfire on the spray. my year z's are known to break into 13's stock and the new z's are breaking into 12's stock, crossfires stock are really only known to only go low 15's sad as that sounds. which trac. control plays a part in but still.

Best "Stock" 1/4 mile I've seen in the "Magazine Road Tests" for an NA 6 spd. was 14.7sec.
Best "Stock" time for an auto was 15.18sec.
I believe Gary (Valk) ran 14.7's with his auto and just the Needswings intake. For less than $400 that's a lot of performance for the money.

Slowest 350Z = 287hp/274tq & 3188 lbs
NaXfire = 215hp/230tq & 3010 lbs

That's a peak power to weight ratio of 11.1 VS our 14.0 with similar gearboxes. Driven moderately well, the slowest older model 350Z is faster than even a lightly modded NAxfire.

Used to own a G35 coupe with the aero package and it def had more in it than my 04 N/A. Not by much but you can easily feel the difference between the two. The G35 pulled solid all the way to redline, I could see where an automatic might not pull too hard on a stock N/A as the advantage is in the higher RPMS. G35 was def one of the smoothest rides I have ever driven. I ran with a Z a few months back, was behind him at a turn light he launched off the line as did I. He went right lane I went left, He shifted gears and fell back about 3/4 car, I hit 3rd and was about 1/4 ahead and by the time I hit redline in 3rd he was about a half tire ahead and we had to stop for a light. He didn't want any after that which was funny but lucky for me as he def would have pulled away. Makes me miss my G35 a bit but can't win em all. As long as I don't see the taillights of any ricers I am happy.

thanks guys, i mean if you lose you lose right, can't win them all, why not just say it is what it is. I did like my crossfire and with the mods i had, needswings intake, magnaflow cat-back it still would have lost to a stock z. I lost to my friends 97 m3 with my crossfire with intake and exhaust by a little and my z which is not stock but still not crazy mods pulls about three to four cars on the same m3 by from a 40-130 roll.

and p.s. yes girl drivers don't count and if it is a rev-up stock it is prolly as fast as my z right now with my mods. you gotta be crazy, thats a 12 second breaker with a good driver out of the box. all day low 13's

ive basically put down every car in the same horse power range that should have killed me. 350z, g35, s2000, rx8 and others i cant recall. all these cars list way faster than ours! and dont give me that manual trans vs auto crap because all of these were manual. last time out at the track manual trans Z ran 15.3s my crossfire 15.8s no traction whatsoever in 1st and barely in second gear at any rpm. i even launched at 1000 and slipped the clutch out slowly..as soon as my foot went all they way down no traction!

by the way i live in Tucson AZ so you can basically subtract a second for sea lvl times.
