Stay away from the phantom grip. The name even makes it sound like a scam. The physics behind it don't make any sense.

Peloquin, quaife or bust.

I've seen some of thier Data logging with the phantom and it looks impressive, there are a couple people here that have them, but never really posted thier experience with it. MOre data can be found at MBworld.com as some have upgraded thier slk32's with the PhantomGrp.

if you want a real quaf LSD that will cost about $2800. and may require the use of a C32 or 55 mercedes rear diff. If you have a mercedes junkyard I've heard rumors about the station wagons with LSD, and maybe even the ML's?

I think I'll try the Phantom Grip first since it's so cheap and drops right in there. It looks like a similar design to the Powertracks except there are no lugs to engage.

Do you know if they actually make one for the SRT6? I've checked with Quaife 2yrs ago and they didnt have one back then.

like I said you have to upgrade your rear diff to a C-class, as that is what the quaf was engineered for.

The phantom grip fits all crossfires and slks

Unless your just interested in Drag racing, anyone with a machine shop can make a solid spool.
It sure will take some serious supension talent to have the rear wheels completly locked up, while tuning the suspenion to lift one rear tire during cornering while keeping the two front tires flat. As I've seen this done in FWD cars for auto-x, as for rwd they like to lift the fronts wheels around corners instead.

You guys need to talk to HDDP as he's done all the reasearch on this stuff for his gutted race machine.

for those of you who suscribe to Grass Roots Racing, which is a fun read every month.

may I suggest reading up on the vacuum powered Corvette, maybe some one can build one for your crossfire, then traction will never be an issue again. this thing pulls big G's in the corners check it out! : )
