Milan dragway Oct. 18, 2008...Rob ran 11.9@120
Wow, today Rob (Needwings), his fiance Liz, Apkano and I went to Milan Dragway's tune and test day.
I witnessed Rob run a couple of 11.9 sec 1/4 mile @ 120 MPH
As for Apkano and I, it was more like a Sunday drive on the expressway
My best:
14.9@96MPH
+.0250 reaction time...60 ft: 2.2 sec
Had fun with some great company and can't wait to do it again
Pics in my racing gallery,
Hey FP, we need you to come out and play with us...the track is open until mid November...

LOL......yup had a great time! You did great today....especially that .0250 reaction time!
I'm planning to go back in November when we really have some cold weather!
My best for the day:
2.1641.....60 ft.
6.2030.....330 ft.
9.4741.....1/8 ET
75.22.......1/8 MPH
12.2920....1000' ET
86.53.......1000' MPH
14.6761....1/4 ET
96.14.......1/4 MPH
Not too shabby for the 'ol 6 speed.
I'm pretty sure Rob took the record for top speed in the quarter for a SRT6, and was a tenth or two off the ET record.

I was still playing around a bit......I could do better.
That run was about 4800RPM and slip the clutch so as to not bog down the engine. It's somewhat abusive on the clutch.....but I HAD to run down MI1XFIRE!!!!
Dumping the clutch will bog the motor and you'll lose about 3 tenths.

It spins second a little bit, but it's still faster than the recovery time it takes the car when it feels the need to "intervene".

Very impressive guys! Rob needs to hook up better to lower those et's. 119 traps should do it for sure. I'll be heading to the track this Sunday to see if I can better my 12.1 @114 with the few mods I currently have. It should be about 10 degrees cooler than my last race, so we'll see...
