Talking At the track today

Reaction .7050 .. but alot of the time i was getting .5's
60ft 1.9770
330ft 5.5727
1/8et 8.5613
1/8mph 81.76
1/4et 13.2779 ... My best time ever
1/4mph 105.78

around 81degrees felt like 95+

took all challengers didnt lose once, most of the time it was this frind of mine who had a cobalt ss with a buttload of mods on it around 2.5k worth i beleave so yea for a cobalt it was stacked. still spanked him though but i beleave on the open road he might win in the longrun he was starting to gain on me right befor the line but he had more then 2 car lengths to do it. took on two mustangs one 5.0 and with my worst time of the day still seen him in my rearview mirror waaaayyyy back and i was peeling out halfway down the track that one was 13.74 and he made 14.44. the other was a gt with a intake and exagust, tune. that was the most fun run.. we were head to head all the way down i got him at the launch (auto isnt always a bad thing ) did a 13.3047 and he did 13.3489 .2169 finish margin talk about close.. but a win and im compleatly stock yeaaa baby. it was a good day indeed

Alright out there having fun. Glad to hear it. You are running what I ran stock. I couldn't get out of the 13.20's no matter what I tried. That's a great 60' time. Your DA I'm guessing was around 3000'.

Sounds like great fun. Did you try taking off the grill? I did it after reading that Cruzin was taking it off and it was good for a 1/10th. What pressure are you running in the tires? I'm running stock pressure in the front and 30 and 28 in the rear. I tried airing the fronts to 46 but didn't see any change. I never went to the track 100% stock. My first trip was with the Needswings intake. 13.2 is fast for stock so I think you got the launch down pretty good. My favorite part is when women and children crowd around the car and then head back to report what kind of car and what mods the car has, or doesn't have.

im runing stock pressure in both front and back. used to run about 3or5psi less but went for my 30.000mi inspection and didnt want them asking questions about the light being on. cant take off my grill because of my lazer shifter's (have pic's in profile) are mounted to it and would be a hassle but im sure it would help from what i have been reading on here but i like how hidden thay are for rideing through VA. my best launch was braking while doing around 1500 rpm when i would try for more i would spin. the one with my worst time i was around 2500/2600 but it also was on me somewhat (i wanted to beat that 5.0 bad but he was all noise. when he first pulled up to me he looked at me with a **** eating grin on his face like he new he was going to win or somthing so i wanted him to eat that grin with a spoon full of my exhaust)so i might have gotten a lil excited. when i go to the track i dont even park i pull up bye the tower, register, get my lil sticker, then get in line hehe. one day i might take a few min and watch the other cars race but that prob wont last long. but ppl do always stare a few might ask questiong ( most of the time after i beat em) and when i tell them its stock watching there jaw drop is always a nice lil +, and after i tell them what i have planed thay just shake there head and walk away.

Here in Puerto Rico its real informal and relaxed. While waiting in line no one is in the stands, they are all walking through the waiting cars and taking pictures or just looking out of curiosity. I always adjust the air pressure and take off the grill while waiting for my turn. I can't get traction at 36 lbs. Well, I'll try again but the one day I ran 36 lbs in the rear tires, I just ran in place. If the weather is decent I go to the track on wednesdays. I spend lots of time every week waiting for Wednesdays.
