Default Hello - new here - looking forward to learning...

Hey guys. Heading up in a few minutes to pick up an '04 Crossfire. Seems to be a pretty good deal @ $9900.

Anyway, the car is primarily for my wife...but I'm posting in the racing section because I'll be focusing a lot of my attention on the performance end of things. I know I have a lot of reading to do but if you guys want to give me any quick pointers to get me started, that would be great.

I'm not being lazy I'm a moderator on a performance truck site and am well aware of the need to search, read, search, read...

My truck puts down some pretty decent times, it would be cool to squeeze some respectable times out of the Crossfire as well. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Welcome!

Are you a real "Damned Yankee"? That would be one that moved to the south-and stayed.

I am.

Love that color. Not as much as Blaze Red, but it's my #2!

Look up Needswings and TVT designs. They do a number of things for the N/A Crossfire and there's a all-in-one kit to make ~ 265 HP all at once. Have fun and keep us posted?

Welcome to the site! There should be plenty to keep you busy here, especially if you are already on another forum.

x2 On TVT & Needswings. Very popular items around here.

Yep - a genuine Damn Yankee. Grew up in NY and moved to Dallas 8 years ago.

Thanks for the welcome.

So what are some realistic times for the car with available/popular mods?

Out of 22 runs I got a 14.78 in the 1/4 mile with my Needswings Cold Air Intake
