Waldig, my delay is gone
Waldig, my delay is gone
Rather than doing this by IM with Waldig, I wanted to share this 'cause I know other folks have been struggling with the delay.
I've now done 3 autocross events after modding the SRT6 a few months ago...
Needswings DCAI, 178mm crank pulley with the pulley saver kit, and
Eurocharged tune.
The past 2 autocross seasons I've been experiencing the delay when mashing the pedal, it feels like a turbo is spooling up before launching and is extremely frusterating. So far this season I've had NO delay, none, not even a hint of one, it's INSTANT POWER, like you'd hope for.
I can't say exactly which mod solved the problem, but I suspect it's the tune since I think that was the only thing Waldig didn't have that I had. Also, Tony from Eurocharged said the delay would disappear.
Anyway, for what it's worth, something is working because the delay is gone.

Re: Waldig, my delay is gone
its the tune...I remember when we were talking while getting my tune, it was mentioned I wouldn't necessarily need the sprint booster anymore, but they could tune around it...at least I hope I heard them right, because that is what I will do with the new coupe, is tune around it...no need to buy a sprint booster if this is the case.
