We definitely need to get together on a better race day. With the DA so high, it was a matter of who breathed better through a pinhole, and you driving skills. I don't think the turbos have as bad a time but it does effect all F/I's when you put a warm wet cloth over their face.

it seemed the turbos thrived on the hot air!! the more they ran the faster they got. some of those cars looked loke rolling dumpsters that were trappoing 130+ mph!
i dont know squat bout the turbos but it was a trip listening to these blow fire backfire and sound they would pop on the line almost stall shifting then go into hyperspace!

so let me clarify because those comments have hit a nerve with me. bobs sister works at the marriot/ fairfield inn and was nice enough to secure a room for me at half the triple digit rate.
so let me say this just once. everyone is welcome to pick on me all they want, but bob's family is OFF LIMITS!

 

I apologize to Bmorgan, and to Steve. I was making fun of the statement, not the circumstance. I followed the threads so was aware of what you meant, but I do apologize to anyone I offended with my jest.

Yes, my sister is the general manager for the Fairfield Inn and Suites. I understood that it was a razz that is why after much debate, I did not tell my sister about this as she scares me when I make her mad. No telling what she would do to one of you guys.
