Default Getting there.

The wife is slowly learning how to launch, new best for her still was only a 2.0 60' but shes getting there. She did make a nitrous pass but was having spark blow out, so no track times on juice yet.

she wanted a car to take to the track when i race and this is what she wanted so ive never drivin her car at the track, but this was her best 60' to date, for the most part shes leaving off idle. im only giving her small pointers as she learns, shes only made around 10-15 passes at a dragstrip in her life, all in this car. she gets nervous when i start giving her too many intructions, shes learning alot on her own. im really happy she finally learned how to cut a light.

the reason I asked, is, that isn't a bad 60' for these cars with street tires...you should make a pass and see how you do....what do you race when at the track....

Good for her...learning and having fun. You can't beat that.
Did she jump slightly.

she actually on et streets, i dont make a pass because if i made a pass half a second faster then her im afraid it would discourage her, besides i bought the car for her to enjoy and learn with, i know what the car is capable of, she just needs figure it out.

im in the expensive hobby of building race cars and selling them, last one was a d250 cummins dyno'd 746/1560 and ran 10.70's, before that was the srt4, it ran 10.90's, and before that was 73 dart ran 11.40's. current project is a 37 D2 with a s488 blown thru 426W. im hoping to sink enough in this one to keep it.

I was smoked by a 4x4 Dodge deisel at a test and tune not long ago...couldn't believe what they are turning both HP and ET....well, she is off to a good start....I'm on hold now until the LSD's are done and installed...last time I launched hard with the DR's on, I heard a nice pop from the rearend, and luckily it was just a suspension pop and not a rear end....but, still worried about the slicks and hard launches...so, it will be next spring before we go back...
