Take a Nostalgic 1/4 mile Ride
Re: Take a Nostalgic 1/4 mile Ride
Cool stuff, thanks for sharing. Brings back so many memories. I had a dream of taking my SRT 6 with a few mods back to thoes high school days LOl. I spent a couple of years chasing my true muscle car friends around in my yellow Opel GT. That SRT would have been sweet revenge.
Think I saw a few of the Grant aftermarket wood steering wheels in there. I remember how everyone wanted one. My Opel GT came with a wood steering wheel lol, my only claim to fame. I did think it was a cool car though.

I never owned one, but I worked at a Buick dealer when they came out, and had the chance to drive a several different GT's and loved em. Being a 2 seater guy, if I wasn't already saving my money for another Sports/Muscle car back then, I probably would have eventually wound up with a GT.

Cool stuff....I raced mini bikes when I was 6. By 10 I was in the 50-90 class, 12 moved up to 125/175, 15 I was in the 250 class...17...Harley's and flat track...18, got my first car, and Dad spoiled the only son. I did have to pay for it, but he surprised me with a '69 Z-28 Camaro. I think he liked it, as he had a 396 SS El Camino that I was tearing the rear tires off of....lol...Thanks to my Dad, I was a motorhead from the get go...The 60's and 70's were fun times for me....If we only knew where these cars were going...lol...
