Default Running in the 10's is not a fluke

I wonder the track last night, after making slight adjustments on the car, got in a couple of good runs.
First run I Thought was a little slow but my 60 foot was 1.633
Found , not enough fuel , so at the 8 mile, the car slowed down, only ran at 10.90@ 128

I made a 1 pound adjustment on the fuel, and in about 15 min. from my first run, I was ready
my IAT's were down to 63°, and after the burnout I had 66°.
This time I had a good burn out but my 60' went up to 1.66
but again my 1/8 mph was low it was only 102
after last week running a 10.85 at 128.79 now
I come right back down to the 10.8 well 10.87 @ 128.36

the next car on the track was a Mustang he would first,, second,, third,,And then back to first.loss control,, hit the right wall, and spun around, hit the left wall, and spun around again and hit the right wall again.
two hours after that I decided to leave they were still on cleanup.jim

10.8 is not a fluke. I guess the adjustable fuel pressure is working good for you too! All I can say is "your the man"! Congrats!

Amazing! It's hard for people I know, that aren't that into cars, to understand just how fast that is. I tell them that you would actually demolish my R6 in a straight line, and they're just like "oh, cool". I have to shake my head and walk away. It's a lot more than just cool, that is flippin crazy!!!

Nice slips! A 10.99 (which is what I'm shooting for) is possibly a fluke. A 10.8 is fairly deep into the 10's, and definitley not a fluke. Your trap speed says it all, for those that understand what it means.

Whats the race weight on your rig?

Trap speed is where its at to me...Low ET's are very cool and all but i would love to come home with a slip that shows 130+ even if it only went 11's....only gonna need about 200 more whp, no biggie

Jim. Did you go to some event at country line for Top Gear last week? My neighbor has a green/carbon all motor eg civic hatch. He said he ran a black v8 crossfire and kept up. It had to be you. There aren't too many black v8 crossfires around here. He said a girl raced your car though. Also, the car is quick but there is no way he kept up.

yes, we were practicing for the powder puff. It was a race from a 40mph roll. She was kind of afraid to get into it because we were running street tires.(now for the race) So he was ahead for about the first 50 yards or so, by the time we got to the end of the track.my crossfire was 4 or 5 car lengths ahead of him
he came over and said they told him not to when, LOL I ask the producer, no one said don't win.,on the return trip a power steering hose blew on my car, so I was out, but, I am in some of the background shots.
This airs November 26.jim
