Default Autocross on 12-6-2015 Video

I autocrossed with SASCA at San Antonio Raceway on Sunday. The video of my best run (also my last run of the day) is on YouTube here:

I have only auto crossed twice. Once in a Formula Vee like you were behind, and once in my Shelby Charger Turbo. I really enjoyed it both times. It is a great test of driving, memory and a nimble car.

I bought the ST6 for autoX. As much as I LOVED doing it in my GLH, the SRT6 is WAY too much for autoX. I think a regular XF would be a blast though!!!

Indeed, it is! The base coupe is the lightest Crossfire. I have Koni Sport shocks, 30mm front bar, and am running 245/40 17s BFG Rivals on the front and 275/40 18s on the rear. The wheels are Sparco, which aren't the lightest, but they're inexpensive. They are stock widths--7.5 in front and 9 in rear. I have crash bolts but have not had them installed yet. That should help get more negative camber in the front.

Ah the often ignored GLH, I love those as well. Get a GLH-T then add the "SLH" brake package, and a manual boost controller!
I had Several L-Bodies, and finally got out of it all when they all started hitting the crushers in the local yards. My favorite was a Shelby Charger Turboized Rampage.
As for Crossfire in autocross, how hard on tires is it? I will not be buying special tires/wheels for it, but don't want to significantly wear my daily tires. On my S.C. I really didn't car, and hammered the hell out of it, even snapped the lower front motor mount on a down shift, that car was for driving as hard as I could. This car for me is for driving nearish the limits, but not to the point of abuse.

I autocrossed on the daily driver tires a couple of times without significant wear. However, they didn't stick like the BFG Rivals, and the car pushed a lot, which doesn't happen with the Rivals. Wear depends on how hard you push it, surface that you're running on, and alignment settings. I'd give it a try and see what happens. A few runs shouldn't have that much of an effect.
